We’re looking for some energetic, committed individuals to join our Scotland volunteer team and play an important role in delivering our Skills for Life plan.
The volunteer roles we’re recruiting for are:

- Scotland Commissioner (Outdoors and Adventure)
- Scotland Commissioner (Scout Active Support)
- Scotland Commissioner (Beaver Scouts)
- Scotland Commissioner (Inclusion)
- Scotland Development Adviser (LGBTI)
We’re looking for someone with knowledge and experience of training in Scouting to lead on the strategic direction of volunteer training and development in Scotland.
Outdoors and adventure
This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic development of our Outdoors and Adventure programme in Scotland.
Scouts Active Support
Active Support provides volunteer support to our Scouting community all across Scotland. We’re looking for an experienced manager to lead and develop Scout Active Support and raise awareness of its services.
This role provides strategic leadership and development of the programme for the Beaver Scout Section, supporting Region and Districts too.
We need someone to help us make Scouting as diverse as the communities we represent and take a lead on inclusion. This role is perfect for someone with strong understanding of inclusion policy and practice and the management and communication skills to make a difference.
Development Advisor (LGBT)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide advice and insight around LGBT inclusion across Scotland.
For all roles, the closing date for applications is midday on Monday 18 March. Applicants will be informed if they have been selected by interview by Friday 22 March. Interviews will take place in April.
