Vacancy | Lead Volunteer for Inclusion

Vacancy | Lead Volunteer for Inclusion

05 July 2024

We’re Scouts and everyone is welcome here. All genders, races, and backgrounds. Every week we give thousands of 4-25 year-olds across Scotland the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

About the Role

The Lead Volunteer for Inclusion leads Scouts Scotland’s Inclusion strategy to make sure we are representative of the communities we serve and inclusive to all members. You will sit on the Scotland Leadership Team and help influence the direction of Scouts Scotland over the coming years and support your sub-teams including LGBTI, Social Equity, Race Equity, ASN and Faith and Beliefs. You will also have links to the UK Inclusion Team to help UK initiatives filter down to Scotland.

As Leader of the Inclusion Team, you will play a key role in helping to deliver the ‘Skills for Life’ Strategy, lead future projects and initiatives and help shape our new strategy beyond 2025.
