Staff applications are opening on 1st October for Blair Atholl International Jamborette.
Taking place Saturday 18th July to Saturday 1st August July, the camp is open to all adults in Scouting. Details of how to apply can be found on the website www.Jamborette.org.uk.
Held in the grounds of Blair Castle, the Blair Atholl Jamborette is the world’s oldest continually held Jamborette with an impressive 72-year history. It is also the only Scout camp of its kind in the world, providing a unique opportunity to get to know other Scouts from around the world as Scottish patrols are linked up with overseas Scouts for the 10-day camp.
Camp Chief Colin Peters said: “A two week camp of the size and scale of Blair Atholl takes an immense amount of work and support from adults in Scouting with all levels of experience. You don’t have to have been to the camp before, or many others for that matter. We need staff to run activities, support the catering staff, welcome visitors at reception, look after the scouts on subcamp and clean toilets – to name just a few roles.”
Application close on 1st November and are open to all adults in Scouting and those not yet in a role but who will be 18 at the start of camp.
