New badge celebrates Year of Young People

New badge celebrates Year of Young People

10 June 2018

The Scottish Government has dedicated the whole of 2018 to young people, so our National Youth Advisory Group in partnership with our SHQ Commissioners (Youth Involvement), have launched a special badge to help you take part in celebrating young people’s successes.

The badge is available to all Sections and adult volunteers. You can achieve your Year of Young People badge by completing just one task from a list of requirements.

Anja Johnston, SHQ Commissioner (Youth Involvement) says:

“The Year of Young People is a great opportunity to celebrate the success of young people in Scouting, so we want to see every Beaver, Cub, Explorer, Network member, and Adult Leader wearing this badge!"
