LEADERS: Are you interested in supporting Explorer Belts?
Following the request for interested Scout Network and Explorer Scouts to take part in the proposed Explorer Belt in Austria in late June/July 2025, we are now looking to expand our Leadership Team.
Explorer Belts are a huge commitment for participants, but also require support from leaders along the way. Roles include
Preparation – Helping on the preparation training weekends to ensure our participants are ready for the ultimate Scouting Challenge of an Explorer Belt
Logistical Support – In country problem solving and support
Mentoring – Making sure our participants have the skills to be able to make the most of their EB experience

It may also be that you are interested in developing your own knowledge about organising Explorer Belts with the intention of running your own opportunities in the future. We would like to support this by providing online sessions explaining the process and requirements that the team are following and providing a forum to develop skills in this area.
