We’re looking for two Local Growth Officers to join our team, either based at Scouts Scotland Headquarters, Dunfermline or working from home in the East of Scotland and the West of Scotland.
A Local Growth Officer is somebody who shares our passion to make Scouting accessible to all, who proactively helps our Regions and Districts to achieve their growth ambitions, focusing specifically on opening new Sections, and who sets themselves goals, monitors their own progress and measures their impact.
We make a big difference. You could too.
We’re a national charity and a membership organisation. You’ll be passionate about the work we do helping young people to become the best they can be. You’ll enjoy forming relationships and working with our amazing volunteers and always be on the lookout for where we can make the biggest difference.
You’ll provide practical hands on support that creates new spaces for young people to join, and recruit adult volunteers to support them, prioritising areas of deprivation and underrepresented communities.
