Environmental Policy Working Group

Environmental Policy Working Group

07 September 2022

“Try to leave this world a little better than you found it.” - Robert Baden-Powell

Do you have an interest or passion for the environment?

The Board of Scouts Scotland are seeking members to form a short-term working group to support the introduction of our environmental policy and help to develop an environmental action plan for Scouts Scotland. This is a great opportunity for our members to help shape and influence our environment impact by contributing towards ideas and initiatives across all areas of Scouting.

The working group will hold regular meetings as part of a dedicated project team. With an initial aim to deliver positive outcomes and direction to the organisation by early 2023.
There may be an opportunity for subsequent project work to help bring the plan to life, but contributing at this stage creates no future obligations.

If you are interested in taking part or would simply like to find out more, please contact
Gillian.Curle@scouts.scot or Neil.Baird@scouts.scot

If this role isn't for you, perhaps you might flag to a friend who you know would be great in this team?

We hope to have a group together by early October and welcome interest from all areas of Scouting.
