About the event

We’re so excited to host our first online event with Mollie Hughes, Adventurer and Scouts Scotland President, for our Explorer and Network members on Wednesday 24 February at 7pm.

In January 2020, aged 29, Mollie became the youngest woman in the world to ski solo from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole.

In 2017, aged 26, she became the youngest woman in the world to summit Mount Everest from both the south and north sides.

In her powerful talks, Mollie inspires and helps others by sharing what she has learned while taking on extreme challenges.

From her recent solo South Pole expedition, she shares tips and practical advice on how to handle isolation and maintain mental and physical health.

Mollie will talk about controlling fear, self-belief, maintaining a positive mindset and becoming more resilient.

Spaces are limited so book soon to join us for this fascinating and inspirational event. Booking closes at 12pm on Tuesday 23rd February, or when the event is full.
