About the event

We’re delighted to have The Royal Navy join us for our second online event for our Explorer and Network members on Wednesday 10th March at 7pm.

It’ll be more than a presentation. They’ll be asking you interactive questions throughout to find out if you have what it takes to complete the same mission. It would take all of the courage, determination and resilience that Scouts have to do so.

The presentation recalls the deployment of Royal Navy personnel from HMS Illustrious and RFA Fort George to Mozambique to help with a major humanitarian crisis caused by monsoon flooding. The mission tested the leadership, integrity and citizenship of everybody involved and it will test yours too.

The Royal Navy will talk about technical, physical and emotional barriers, overcoming fear, keeping a positive attitude and the need for absolute resilience over the fear of failure.

Spaces are limited so book soon to join us for this eye-opening and interactive presentation. Booking closes at 12pm on Tuesday 9th March, or when the event is full.
