IGNITE 2023

About the event

Following on from two very successful IGNITE days held at Fordell Firs in 2022, the event is going on tour!

IGNITE is a great opportunity for Scouts, aged 12-14 to develop key leadership skills in a fun and practical way. Throughout the day Scouts will work in patrols completing a series of fun and adventurous challenges designed to build confidence in:

communication
delivering instructions
leading a team
resolving issues

Each patrol will be hosted by an Explorer and every Scout will have the opportunity to take a turn of leading the patrol.

The day will be rounded off with a guest speaker, dinner, and a campfire!

 Final joining instructions will be sent out via email and posted here mid-March.

Volunteers

We are looking for both experienced and new leaders to help deliver this event. This is a great opportunity for adults to come along and meet new people whilst supporting a national event.
