About the event

For the very first time, Scout Adventures Fordell Firs is hosting a Gold DofE Residential!

Join us this April for our Conservation themed residential. If you're looking to complete your residential element of your Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award, we're offering a packed five-day experience in Fife, exploring and learning about the diverse outdoor environment a stones-throw away from Scotland's capital.

During your week you'll be exploring the coastal path of Fife through activities and projects from Fife Coast and Countryside Trust. You'll discover how industry and history have impacted the coast, carry out practical conservation work and also get to relax and have fun on our outdoor and adventure activities such as our Zip line and 3G swing.

This residential includes:

gaining the John Muir Award

working on local conservation projects with the Fife Coast and Countryside Trust

completing activities relating to sustainable development

alongside some exciting outdoor activities

This is the perfect opportunity to try out some new experiences and consider new areas of interest for the future.

This residential includes indoor accommodation and catering for up to 12 young people with the focus on discovering, exploring and conserving the local environment.
