From the skills you learn to the friends for life that you make, being in Scouts makes a huge difference to both young people and adults. Growing our groups means that even more people can get involved and have incredible experiences with us. It’s given me great opportunities. I’ve got to learn outdoor skills like canoeing, I wouldn’t know otherwise how to go about learning a skill like that but as a volunteer I’ve been offered this chance.
