Steven MacLennan

I am one of the SHQ Commissioners for Youth Involvement and my main responsibilities are supporting the Scottish Youth Involvement Strategy to ensure that all young people who are Scouting in Scotland have their views and opinions heard at all levels.  I also support the National Youth Advisory Group and Highlands and Islands, and North East Regions.

Youth Involvement is all about our Leaders and volunteers working in partnership with our youth members on things that matter to them. From weeknight programs to Explorer Belts and camps.

Through Scouts I have had the opportunities to be a member of the Scottish Board, a member of the national representative pool, and the predecessor of the National Youth Advisory Group.

Outside of Scouting I am student studying Community Learning and Development in Dundee.  I also have a background in Youth work and adult learning in various roles.
