As Scotland Commissioner (Growth) my role is to provide support and direction for all aspects of Growth in Scotland and to support Regions, Districts and local volunteers with opportunities to grow.
I have held various roles both at Group and District level, since starting my volunteering journey in 2012. At the moment, I'm Group Scout Leader GSL for the 112th Lanarkshire Scout Group, where I began my volunteering as a Beaver Leader.
I am entering my probationary year as a Secondary Teacher in Technological Education within North Lanarkshire council, but I was previously employed as a Local Development Officer for Scouts Scotland working within West & Forth Regions supporting districts and groups to grow, specifically focussing on creating new provisions in under-represented communities.
I am excited to start providing assistance to volunteers across Scotland to further encourage growth and contribute to the delivery of the strategic plan.
