Ann Fotheringham

As Scotland Commissioner (Adult Training) my role is to help provide strategic direction for training in Scotland and to support the delivery of training in the Regions.

I began my Scouting journey as a Cub Leader in North East Scotland but have been involved in Adult Training for around 25 years. I have experience in running training courses and conferences at Regional and Scottish level and am currently one of the Leadership & Management Trainers in Scotland.

In my professional capacity, although now retired (early!), I was a Group Business Manager for a Global Emergency Response & Crisis Management Company.  Prior to that, I was involved in delivering Management Training for an oil services company.

Apart from Scouting and grandchildren, my main passion in life is horse-riding which I took up after I retired.
